Tri-State Airport

The Tri-State Airport is a vital link between the river cities of Huntington, Ashland, and Ironton as well as major airline hubs. Historic Huntington is the largest of the three river cities, home of Marshall University, a 10,000-seat civic center, wide avenues, and 750-acres of beautiful parks. Ritter Park is used widely by people from all three cities and features picnic areas, tennis courts, an amphitheater, a running path, and several walk trails. David W. Harris Riverfront Park often is the site of concerts and other performances. The Huntington Museum of Art is the cultural center of the area, hosting major exhibitions several times yearly.

Serving more than a half million people in West Virginia, Kentucky, and Ohio, the Tri-State Airport truly is a regional airport. Located only two miles from Interstate 64 and a 15 minute drive from downtown Huntington, the airport provides easy access for both business and pleasure travelers. The airport occupies approximately 1,164 acres and is located nine miles west of Huntington, WV, at an elevation of 828 feet.
