Officers Elected for Tri-State Airport Authority
Jim Booton Re-elected as President
Huntington, WV---- Tri-State Airport Authority re-elected Jim Booton as President today during the annual meeting held at Tri-State Airport. Mr. Booton, representing Wayne County Commission, will be serving his third consecutive term as Airport Authority President.
Other officers, also re-elected are:
1st Vice President: Dr. Calvin A. Kent, representing City of Huntington
2nd Vice President: A. Michael Perry, representing Cabell Co. Comm.
Secretary: Kevin Gunderson, representing City of Ashland
Assistant Secretary: Larry Salyers, Airport Director
The Airport Authority is the governing body for Huntington’s Tri-State Airport. Its fifteen members are representatives from the tri-state area, which include: Wayne County Commission, Cabell County Commission, the Huntington Regional Chamber of Commerce, the Cities of Huntington, Kenova, Ceredo, and Barboursville in West Virginia; the City of Ashland, the Ashland Alliance, and the Boyd County Fiscal Court in Kentucky; and the Lawrence County Economic Development Corporation and Chamber of Commerce in Ohio.
