Huntington, WV---- Airport Authority President, Jim Booton, welcomed Hillary Clinton to Tri-State Airport on Thursday, February 28, 2008 following Senator Clinton’s visit to Southern Ohio earlier in the day.
“Campaign stops of this nature require a lot of pre-planning by our airport employees and local law enforcement,” Booton stated. “Our employees did a great job, and are to be commended for ensuring the Senator’s visit to the airport went smoothly.”
Booton was recently re-elected as President during the airport’s annual meeting in February, and will be serving his third consecutive term as Airport Authority President.
