Part- Time Allegiant Customer Service Agent- (4) positions $9.00/hr

CLASS TITLE: Customer Service-Ground Operations ( Cross Utilized ) Agent

DESCRIPTIVE STATEMENT:This position is responsible for providing customer service to all customers, including scheduled or charter services.  Responsibilities will also include ground operations, aircraft cleaning, security, operations and commissary duties as required.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The ideal candidate must be people oriented, highly motivated with a positive and friendly attitude.
Process tickets, check baggage, monitor carry-on baggage for size and quantity, and assign seats.
Provide information on arrival and departure times, boarding procedures, carry-on regulations, and seating arrangements.
Handle denied boarding situations, solicit volunteers, reaccommodate customers and provide hotel, meal, and taxi vouchers when appropriate.
Ensure FAA, Allegiant Air and airport regulations are followed.
Enforce safety/security measures and monitors safety sensitive zones.
Assist Customers with special needs, i.e., Customers who need assistance in boarding.
Load and unload baggage and co-mail of various weight and dimensions to and from aircraft and applicable airport baggage areas.
Marshal in the planes and push back the aircraft.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Must be well groomed and adhere to dress code policy.
Work in extreme outdoor conditions.
Ability to push/pull/lift 70 lbs on a continuous basis.
Ability to work efficiently under time constraints.
Coordinate, provide training and ensure training requirements are met for all employees, i.e., new hire, recurrent, supplemental and local training issues.
Must be available to work varied hours including nights, weekends and holidays and must be able to stay late for irregular operations.
Other duties as assigned.
Must pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug screen.
Must have authorization to work in the U.S. as defined in the Immigrations Act of 1986.
Able to attend required training.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Basic computer skills.  Knowledge of general office equipment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:Must be able to carry 70 pound suitcase from the floor to 18 inches and carry 70 pound suitcase in front of you with both hands for a distance of up to 25 feet; must have physical dexterity sufficient to perform repetitive tasks and motions, including bending at the waist and knees, squatting, kneeling, crawling, twisting and sustaining those positions for extended amounts of time.  Must have sufficient vision and ability to safely perform the essential functions of the position.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS OF WORK:Airport environment: indoor and outdoor. Extreme outdoor conditions where extreme temperature ranges may be encountered. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Part-Time Customer Service Represenative- $9.50/hr. (Friday-Monday 3pm-10pm)

CLASS TITLE: Customer Service Rep. (CSR)

 DESCRIPTIVE STATEMENT:Directs the day-to-day operation of the General Aviation office; does related work as required.

 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:The CSR responsible for a variety of clerical tasks involving responsible decision making in

accordance with established policies; considerable accuracy and good judgment in establishing

work procedures is required.

 KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:Knowledge of functions, procedures, and policies of department, ability to make decisions inaccordance with the established regulations; ability to work with a minimum of supervision; ability to get along well with others; capability of a high degree of accuracy in compiling data; dependability; good physical condition. May also be asked to operate computer with cash drawer; Close out cash register and print transaction edit list each evening; Telephone operator; Order fuel; Advise line personnel of fuel requests, hangar movements and related customer requests; Monitor office admittance; Handle fuel sales, credit card authorizations and credit applications; Maintain current records on all aircraft activity; Maintain aircraft cards; Operate Klaxon Horn, Emergency Telephone and Intercom communications; Contact emergency response agencies as needed; Dispatcher for Airport Police Department; Record daily enplane and deplane activity; Complete reading from credit card machine each evening; Record data on Meter Sheet – twice daily; Communicate with pilots on Unicom. Knowledge of QuickBooks helpful.

 MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Requires a high school diploma, thorough knowledge of clerical duties and responsibilities, and/or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.

Full-Time Maintenance Laborer- $10.00/hr

DESCRIPTIVE STATEMENT:This position requires some technical knowledge in electrical, carpentry and mechanics.  Performs various semi-skilled airport maintenance tasks as directed.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Individual will be responsible for semi-skilled maintenance projects.  Individual will assist with pavement, landscape and buildings maintenance.  Will assist with snow removal operations.  Performs various maintenance duties as assigned by Supervisor.  Individual is required to be on-call 24 hrs day/7 days a week for emergencies.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Experience in electrical, plumbing, or carpentry is a plus.  Must have the ability to comply with FAA Regulations and Airport Rules and Regulations.  Must have some knowledge of methods, policies and procedures of ground and building maintenance.  Must be able to use hand tools and ride-on equipment.  Must be safety conscious.   Must have the ability to work effectively with management, co-workers and citizens.  Must have the ability to respond with short notice.  Individual must have proficient oral and written communication skills.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Any combination of training, education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school or GED.  Completion of trade/vocational school training in any areas of maintenance is a plus.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:Employment is contingent upon completion of a federal 10-year background investigation and/or a background investigation by any law enforcement agency.  Employee must have a valid driver’s license.  Employee must maintain appropriate security status.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS OF WORK:Individual will be required to work during an airport emergency.  Individual will be exposed to outdoor conditions including, but not limited to, inclement weather, noise, fumes and chemicals.

Full-Time Assistant Finance Director- $14.00/hr

CLASS TITLE:  Assistant Finance Director

DESCRIPTIVE STATEMENT:

The bookkeeper reports to the Finance Director.  Performs highly responsible tasks in keeping financial accounts and records; does related work as required. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position either involves the supervision or performance of a number of routine clerical-accounting operations or responsibility for complex and specialized accounting or closely-related tasks including Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.  Employees in this class work with considerable independence, receiving general supervision from the Finance Director. 

Duties may include the following: Issue receipts for payment on accounts and posts to accounts receivable; Prepare Daily Deposit and all related tasks; Verify Parking Lot Receipts; Post Receipts to accounts receivable; Post sales office charge sales daily to accounts receivable; Prepare billings to F.A.A., airlines, tenants, concessionaires, and airport users; Issue customer statements monthly and processes for mailing; Produce monthly accounts receivable reports; Maintain customer account balances and prints related reports; Perform all computer related procedures pertaining to accounts receivable; Perform all procedures related to accounts payable; Issues and mails checks in payment of accounts payable invoices; Issue monthly reports including financial reports; Post miscellaneous entries to General Ledger; Issue monthly inventory report and maintains Master Sheet; Assist auditor with annual audit; Perform wide variety of clerical accounting and related tasks; Prepare sales tax report; Handles involved or unusual complaints or inquiries; Maintain cash drawer and issues change to parking lot and operations; Maintain Petty Cash Fund; Maintain all files for accounts receivable and accounts payable.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Thorough knowledge of methods used in keeping fiscal accounts and records and of office terminology, procedures, routines and equipment; good knowledge of general accounting and English; ability to understand and carry out complex oral and written directions; ability to get along well with others; mental alertness; good judgment; accuracy; integrity; good physical condition.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

A minimum of Bachelor’s Degree with at least two years’ experience. Some responsible clerical-accounting, supplemented by business school or college courses in accounting or business administration; or any equivalent combination or experience and training which provided the required knowledge, skill and abilities.
