Two (2) Part-Time Operations Coordinator Position $10.00/hr (16-24) hours per week, including evenings, weekends and midnights. Eligible for a pay increase after completion of a  six month satisfactory probationary period. 

DESCRIPTIVE STATEMENT:The position requires a strong knowledge of airport operations including FAA and TSA regulations.  Individual must perform airfield inspections to ensure compliance with established standards. Must respond to and assist with the control of airport disasters and emergencies at or near the airport.  Individual will be trained as an Airport Rescue Firefighter.  Responds to and assist with snow events.  Performs administrative,  operational, and limited maintenance functions as needed. Works closely with Airport Departments Heads and regulatory agencies.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:An employee in this class works under general supervision of the Deputy Airport Director. Individual will perform all airport operations duties and, in addition,  Performs administrative and operational duties including, but not limited to, manual updates, airport security, airfield inspections, terminal inspections, landside inspections, wild life control and reporting, fueling operations and event coordination. Assists with snow removal and light maintenance duties, which includes prolonged period of standing, lifting and pulling. Also, must be able to lift up to 70 pounds with no restrictions.   Provides immediate response to and assists with emergencies and disasters that may occur at or near the airport.  Must attend aviation related training programs. Performs related duties as required. Fill in where need either on the line or at the CSR desk. Conducting parking lot checks and car counts as needed. Monitoring ticket spitters and gates as well as does minor repairs and time changes.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:Must be able to work independently and have a firm familiarity with FAA and TSA rules and regulations by end of probation period.  Must be able to make sound decisions and exercise good judgment. Must have the ability to work effectively with management and other public employees, airport tenants, and other citizens. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:In addition to the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed above, four year college education preferred.  On the job training will be provided.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:Employment may be contingent upon completion of a background investigation.  Employee must maintain appropriate security status at all times.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS OF WORK:Individual may be exposed to inclement and sometimes severe weather conditions. Must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Individual must be willing to work overtime and stand-by.  Must respond to work during emergencies, including snow removal operations.

Part-Time CSR- Huntington Jet Center (24-28) hours per week. This shift is a set schedule of Friday-Monday 3:00pm-10:00pm, with occasional extra shifts as needed. $10.00/hr. Eligible for a pay increase after completion of a  six month satisfactory  probationary period. 

DESCRIPTIVE STATEMENT:Directs the day-to-day operation of the General Aviation office; does related work as required.

 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:The CSR responsible for a variety of clerical tasks involving responsible decision making in

accordance with established policies; considerable accuracy and good judgment in establishing

work procedures is required.

 KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:Knowledge of functions, procedures, and policies of department, ability to make decisions inaccordance with the established regulations; ability to work with a minimum of supervision; ability to get along well with others; capability of a high degree of accuracy in compiling data; dependability; good physical condition. May also be asked to operate computer with cash drawer; Close out cash register and print transaction edit list each evening; Telephone operator; Order fuel; Advise line personnel of fuel requests, hangar movements and related customer requests; Monitor office admittance; Handle fuel sales, credit card authorizations and credit applications; Maintain current records on all aircraft activity; Maintain aircraft cards; Operate Klaxon Horn, Emergency Telephone and Intercom communications; Contact emergency response agencies as needed; Dispatcher for Airport Police Department; Record daily enplane and deplane activity; Complete reading from credit card machine each evening; Record data on Meter Sheet – twice daily; Communicate with pilots on Unicom. Knowledge of QuickBooks helpful.

 MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Requires a high school diploma, thorough knowledge of clerical duties and responsibilities, and/or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Must have three years of experience using QuickBooks and handling money.
